What to Expect
From the birth process itself to learning to walk, falling off bikes, playing sports, and carrying heavy backpacks, children's spines endure tremendous stress. These micro-traumas can create spinal misalignments that interfere with nervous system function, potentially contributing to issues like colic, ear infections, bedwetting, difficulty sleeping, behavioral challenges, and weakened immune function. Pediatric chiropractic adjustments are nothing like adult adjustments. For infants, the pressure used is about the same as what you would use to test the ripeness of a tomato — incredibly gentle. For older children and teens, we use age-appropriate techniques that are safe and comfortable. At Victory Health Center, we especially love caring for families. Watching children grow up healthy, active, and thriving is one of the most rewarding parts of our practice. Many of our young patients tell their parents they look forward to their adjustments! We encourage parents to have their children's spines checked early and regularly, just as they would have regular dental checkups. Establishing good spinal health habits early gives your child the best foundation for a healthy life.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Children can benefit from chiropractic care from birth. In fact, many chiropractors recommend having newborns checked shortly after birth, as the birthing process itself can be stressful on a baby's spine. We use extremely gentle techniques for infants.
